JETS is a scheme, designed to help jockeys who hold, or have held (subject to eligibility guidelines) race riding licences in the UK. Their ultimate aim is to get jockeys to recognise and fulfill their potential by helping them to develop lifelong career plans.
They provide specialist career development advice, retraining grants and assistance with job applications. These are the main services provided to help jockeys achieve a secure future. The result is a pool of talent for potential employers - both within the racing and equestrian industries and outside.
