Built in 1856, the Old Kirk is now a VisitScotland accredited 4 star Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Scotland's castle and malt whisky trails. Attractions nearby include Brodie and Cawdor castles, the ancient burgh of Forres, the river Findhorn and dolphin watching on the Moray Firth. The Highlands, Cairngorms and Spey valley are also within easy reach. It boasts three impressive guest rooms, including a four poster room, all of which have flatscreen TVs and are ensuite with showers. Guests have the use also of a separate guest library and a guest lounge with comfortable sofas set beneath the church's original stained glass window. Full Scottish breakfast is included, using local produce where possible. There are parking spaces in the grounds and free transport to the local train station can be arranged on request. Exposed stonework and arched windows are on show throughout much of the building, which remains warm and welcoming and has been recently redecorated throughout.
